God is represented as Father for a specific reason. It is evident that through creation He addresses fathers. He always spoke from a position of family. God’s intention for this world is to know who He is, and He does this by showing Himself through people. When we are born-again, we are not born into a religion, but rather into a family who has an eternal Father. A Father that promises to bless us, protect us, provide for us, and heal us. The enemy is trying to steal the hearts of our children and to break down family structure. Why is this? Because the strength of the Kingdom of God lies in FAMILY. A father is not just a father to his children, but he is a father to his grandchildren as well. God is a God of legacy. We need fathers that raises children in a safe, secure home where they know that they are loved, protected, and provided for. Letting them know that no matter what storms they may go through or what happens in their lives, they have a home that they can go to where they will find a father with arms open wide, welcoming them back. That’s the love of a father.
