While Jesus was on the cross, He said, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they have done.” (Luke 23:34) In that moment, through those words, Jesus released the same grace for us to forgive others. If the enemy can silence the church, he will silence the voice of hope. We need to tell the world that Jesus is our hope and our salvation. God’s desire is that none should perish.
We need to be driven by compassion for the lost, our love should become stronger and draw them closer. Many religions have Jesus still on the cross, but in relationship with Jesus we know He is alive right now, sitting at the right hand of the Father! He is risen!
Jesus loves us, His love drives us and gives us purpose. We have been placed here on earth to show the world God’s glory and power. People will see Jesus in us and have a desire to know Him. He died for us, let us live for Him!
